Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise data solutions. The role involves SQL Server development (T-SQL), C#, and SSIS to transform claim, authorization, member, and provider data, plus maintaining an in-house letter generation system and ETL workflows.

You will schedule and monitor jobs with ActiveBatch, perform data analysis, and contribute to data marts and EDW feeds. A SAFe-aligned mindset is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative or business field and 4–6 years related experience.
• 4–6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• 3+ years of C# development and 3+ years of SSIS development.
• EDI experience and healthcare data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the data and business domains.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects (tables, views, procedures) for data staging and transformation.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application (C# to Word, Word to PDF).
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document workflows.
