Centene Corporation seeks a software engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise software across the data and reporting stack. You will collaborate with data modelers, architects, analysts, data stewards, and SMEs to deliver scalable ETL, data transformation, and letter-generation workflows.

You will create/optimize T-SQL, maintain the in-house letter application (C# producing Word docs, PDF conversion), develop SSIS packages, and schedule jobs with ActiveBatch.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field; 4–6 years related experience or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• 3+ years of C# development; 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI is preferred; Healthcare/Managed Care data experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer T-SQL stored procedures, functions, views, and tables for staging and transforming data.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application that uses C# and Word docs and converts to PDF.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.
• Perform data analysis, testing, and production support; research and resolve data, performance, and letter-generation issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including designs, data flows, and procedures.
• Contribute to data mart development, EDI X12 processes, EDW feeds, and report development.
