Johnson Controls, Inc. is hiring a sprinkler installer in Maryland to install, service, and repair fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression.

You will execute project plans, forecast installation hours, and ensure tools and equipment are secured at day’s end. You will follow safety policies, document work, train apprentices, lift up to 70 lbs, work in challenging positions, and maintain a clean, safe site while contributing to a collaborative,

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of sprinkler install experience.
• NICET II certification preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision.
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude.
• Capable of performing physical labor.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam sprinkler systems and associated equipment.
• Execute installation project plan, forecast installation hours, and secure tools at day’s end.
• Maintain safety policies and proper documentation of work performed.
• Provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices and assist with training.
• Carry/move equipment weighing up to 70 lbs and work in challenging positions.
