Job summary

BetMGM is seeking a Sr. Sports Analyst for its Sports Analytics team. You will drive data-driven decision making, deliver actionable insights, and identify opportunities in segmentation, VIP, pricing, and margin across the sports betting business.

You will collaborate with product, trading, operations, and finance to shape BetMGM's pricing, structure, and delivery of its offerings. The role requires senior-level analytics experience, strong visualization skills, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

4+ years of commercial experience in analytics, BI or data science.
Advanced use of SQL and large complex datasets.
Advanced use of Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Python or R.
Experience building stakeholder-ready dashboards with Tableau/Looker/Power BI.
Strong analytical communication for senior audiences.
Experience leading analytics strategies across the commercial business.
Experience designing A/B or multivariate tests.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of actionable insights across bonus, VIP, trading, promotions, etc.
Manage multiple projects at pace.
Set analytics strategy within the Sports Analytics team.
Present findings to senior leadership in clear business terms.
Build and maintain complex datasets, reports and dashboards.
Measure and optimize promotional spend and bonus impact.
Design and analyze controlled experiments (A/B/multivariate).
Build agents to automate tasks and mentor junior analysts.
