Substack is seeking a Senior Communications Manager, Sponsorships to lead B2B communications and storytelling around sponsorships. You will partner with product and Sponsorships teams to craft narratives and pitches, and build Substack's voice in the advertising industry.

The role sits on the Brand & Communications team, reporting to the Communications Lead. Based in New York City or San Francisco, you will drive media relations, executive messaging, and industry events with travel as needed.

• Own sponsorships communications. Develop and execute a B2B communications strategy for the advertising industry.
• Drive sponsorships product and creator storytelling with product and sponsorships teams.
• Build industry visibility through media relations with trade press.
• Lead executive visibility and thought leadership with speaking engagements and briefings.
• Identify industry opportunities by monitoring advertising trends and competitors.
• Amplify presence at major industry events with targeted communications.
• Travel as needed for on-site communications at events.
