Substack is seeking a Senior Communications Manager, Shows to lead communications for our audio and video offerings. You will own product storytelling, craft integrated campaigns with editorial, partnerships, and events, and elevate creators building on Substack.

Based in San Francisco or New York City, you will translate product launches into compelling narratives, shape industry conversations, and amplify Substack’s voice across earned and owned channels while traveling as needed to oversee

Qualificações

• 6+ years of experience developing and executing integrated communications strategies across earned, owned, social, and experiential channels.
• Exceptional writing and editing with strong storytelling abilities.
• Fluency in creator ecosystem conversations across podcasts, YouTube, social platforms, and creator communities.
• Deep knowledge of podcasting and video ecosystems; experience creating, producing, or growing shows is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and able to execute independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Willing to travel and work on-site when needed, based in SF or NYC.

Responsabilidades

• Lead audio and video storytelling across editorial, social, publicity, events, and creator channels to drive awareness of Substack's audio and video offerings.
• Own product storytelling and education for Substack's audio and video products, from launches to ongoing education.
• Elevate creators by building a pipeline of stories about podcasters and video-first creators across owned and earned channels.
• Identify industry opportunities by monitoring podcasting and video landscape, competitors, and trends; bring insights to product and storytelling.
• Shape Substack's presence at major industry events (e.g., SXSW, podcast festivals) with compelling programming.
• Be a visible voice in the creator ecosystem, engaging directly with creators and industry voices across channels.
