Job summary

Substack seeks a Senior Communications Manager, Sponsorships to lead B2B communications and storytelling for its sponsorships program. You will partner with product and sponsorships teams, craft compelling narratives, and drive executive visibility in the advertising space.

The role sits on Brand & Communications, reporting to the Communications Lead. Based in NYC or SF, travel may be required to industry events and on-site activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of communications experience, with B2B focus in advertising/tech/media/creator economy.
• Exceptional writer and editor with ability to craft press materials and talking points.
• Strong relationships with reporters, editors, brands, agencies and industry leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own sponsorships communications strategy and earned media for Substack's sponsorships program.
• Develop narratives around sponsorships features, launches, and brand-creator partnerships.
• Lead media outreach, briefings, interviews, and reporter preparation.
