Job summary

Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Manager of Sponsored Programs to lead a team of professionals and enhance efficiency in grant management. The position requires a Master’s degree, 6+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years in supervision, and deep knowledge of federal regulations (2 CFR 200, FAR, DFARS).

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six+ years of job-related experience with three years of supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations governing sponsored projects (2 CFR 200), FAR, DFARS and other agency requirements; ability to negotiate contracts and manage subawards.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and advise team members in timely analysis of solicitations and review of proposals for adequacy, reasonableness, completeness, and compliance with policies and requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate negotiations of terms, conditions, and post-award administration in collaboration with researchers and administrative units.
  • Provide guidance on complex contract language, assess risks, and execute agreements with approved officers.
  • Set team and individual goals, establish priorities, and monitor progress with leadership feedback.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of applicable regulations, policies, and agency requirements.
  • Assist with development and implementation of OSP policies and process improvements for grants and contracts administration.
  • Advise on proposal submission, post-award administration, regulatory compliance, and policy interpretation.
  • Support strategic planning for the Directorate and contribute to ongoing process optimization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
