Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks a senior security strategist to drive transformation for high-value customers across the United States. You will shape the security vision, engage with CISOs, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with Cisco and Splunk to win strategic engagements.

You will lead regional initiatives, mentor field teams, and provide critical feedback to product teams on market trends and regional requirements. This role offers nationwide remote work and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, Master's with 4+ years, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant professional experience in cybersecurity, Security Operations, security architecture, or technical pre-sales/consulting.
• Deep technical knowledge of enterprise SIEM, automation, threat detection, response, and modern security architecture.
• Proven ability to engage senior technical leaders and translate complex business/security requirements into enterprise-grade solutions.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder technical sales engagements across geographic and cultural environments.

Responsibilities

• Shape the security vision for high-value customers by aligning Splunk’s capabilities with their transformation goals in SIEM and security operations.
• Engage with CISOs and senior technical decision-makers to translate risk into robust architectures.
• Lead competitive displacement campaigns and complex technical engagements with Cisco and Splunk.
• Mentor ASP technical field through workshops and reference architectures.
• Represent customer voice to global product and engineering teams with market and regional insights.
