Job summary

Mission Support and Test Services seeks an experienced Principal Splunk Analyst to safeguard critical infrastructure by delivering advanced Splunk development, data onboarding, and integration across security operations.

Based at the Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, NV, you will deploy and manage large-scale Splunk environments, build SOAR playbooks, and collaborate with Threat Hunters and external partners to detect and mitigate threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training with 8+ years of related experience.
• Preferred Splunk certifications listed in job posting.
• Ability to deploy and manage large-scale Splunk deployments via CLI.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organizations Splunk environment, licenses, indexers, and search heads.
• Lead Splunk development, deployment, data onboarding, and other Splunk integrations.
• Maintain premium Splunk apps (Enterprise Security, SOAR, ITSI) and explore new ones.
• Develop SOAR playbooks to minimize incident response time and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security and external partners to address threats and vulnerabilities.
• Support data calls, compliance scanning, and audits as part of the security program.
