Job summary

UnityTec in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Splunk Security Engineer to provide information assurance and security engineering support. You will analyze threat intel and develop SIEM content within the DLA Splunk Enterprise environment to strengthen incident response.

Responsibilities include administering the Splunk architecture, performing upgrades, and building dashboards and reports to detect threats. Travel will be required to support customer missions.

Qualifications

• Linux+ or Splunk Admin certification.
• 7+ years of IT experience.
• Experience creating custom dashboards and reports in Splunk from threat data.
• Experience integrating Splunk Core and Splunk ES.
• Strong Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support and system administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead security engineering and IA to resolve system challenges across the lifecycle.
• Analyze threat intelligence and support CERT IH and IAM roles.
• Administer and maintain the DLA Splunk Enterprise Log Management (ELM) architecture.
• Develop SIEM content, dashboards, rules, and reports to identify threats.
