Job summary

SSV Technologies Inc. seeks a senior cybersecurity professional to lead hands-on threat detection, incident response, and Splunk-based SIEM operations in a dynamic environment.

You will write SPL queries, analyze logs, and coordinate with IT and security teams to strengthen defenses across on-prem and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). A Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant Splunk certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SIEM/Splunk.
• 8+ years writing SPL (Splunk Processing Language).
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, EDR, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with threat detection, incident response, log analysis, and threat hunting.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and compliance standards including NIST, HIPAA, or SOC 2.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; Splunk certifications preferred.
