Formación

• Master's degree or equivalent in speech-language pathology.
• 3 years of speech-language pathology experience.
• New York State SLP license; NYS Education Department.
• CCC-SLP certification by ASHA.

Responsabilidades

• Administers evaluations to determine impairment and plan treatment.
• Evaluates test results and medical information to guide therapy.
• Counsels patients and families about communication disorders.
• Provides ongoing counseling to facilitate communication.
• Develops and oversees group therapy programs for patients.
• Mentors less experienced Speech Pathology staff.
• Records reports and participates in professional development.
