Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing facility (SNF) team in Virginia. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with potential weekends and floating between facilities as needed.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure eligibility, at least 2 years of clinical SNF experience, and strong skills in assessment, dysphagia management, and interdisciplinary collaboration; ASHA

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current state license or eligibility for licensure.
Minimum 2 years of SNF clinical experience.
Knowledge of dysphagia, speech and language disorders.
Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and goals.
Provide therapy for articulation, language, fluency, and swallowing.
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to provide holistic care.
Educate patients and families on communication and swallowing strategies.
Document care and progress accurately and timely.
Adhere to ASHA and state licensing standards.
Stay current with field advancements through continuing education.
