Kaiser Permanente in California seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services under supervision and contribute to department education and mentorship. The role involves clinical instruction, staff training, and participation in improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will hold an SLP degree and CCC, have California licensure, and meet essential certification requirements. BLS and NPI are also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Speech Language Pathologist after attaining your certificate of clinical competence.
• California SLP license required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
• Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certification required at hire from ASHA.

Responsabilités

• Provides speech therapy services under the direction of the Director, Assistant Director, and/or Clinical Supervisor.
• Provides department in-service as requested by management.
• Serves as a clinical instructor and mentors staff.
• Assists in orientation and training of employees.
• Provides consultation to staff and input into clinical competency.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities and participates in performance improvement projects.
• Monitors work of contract therapists and treatment of patients.
• Performs other duties within the scope of practice.
