Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist after CCC.
• Graduated from an accredited speech-language pathology curriculum with a degree and certification.
• California Speech-Language Pathologist License required at hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.
• ASHA Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology certificate required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services under supervision.
• Lead department in-services and journal clubs.
• Serve as clinical instructor when requested.
• Assist in staff orientation and training.
• Provide staff consultation.
• Mentor staff when applicable.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Contribute to new clinical practice models.
• Participate in performance improvement projects.
• Monitor contract therapists and patient care when required.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
