Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• BLS/CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; master's or doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in speech‑language pathology.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or other specialty certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and build meaningful therapeutic relationships.
• Assist with in‑service education and the student program.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise SLP assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories and track rehabilitation progress.

Skills

State licensure in Speech Therapy

CCC certification

BLS/CPR certification

Two years SLP experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management

Master's or Doctorate degree preferred
