Job summary

Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, seeks a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead patient care and a clinical team. You will guide patients with speech and communication challenges, mentor staff, and participate in education programs.

You will work in a supportive, technology-enabled environment with strong opportunities for professional growth and a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA)
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or related certifications when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding therapeutic relationships.
• Assist with SLP in-services and our student program.
• Mentor and train colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories along the journey to recovery.
