Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel in Florida is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead a dedicated team of clinicians. You will provide direct patient care, advance communication outcomes, mentor staff, and participate in education programs using cutting-edge therapy tools.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification completed with valid credentials.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; Master's/Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years of speech language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or related specialty certifications when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships during recovery.
• Lead and mentor team; supervise SLP assistants and technicians.
• Participate in in-service education and student programs.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize patient outcomes.
• Celebrate patient victories and support ongoing rehabilitation goals.
