Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and discharge plan for patients across acute care, rehab, and outpatient settings in the Norristown, PA area. The role requires a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP certification, with BLS/AHA certifications preferred.

You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and mentor/educate students as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• BLS and AHA certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, treatment planning, interventions and discharge planning for a full patient caseload.
• Provide therapy services across acute care, skilled facility, rehab, and outpatient settings.
• Participate in student education and mentor new staff.
• Record progress notes, evaluations and discharge summaries in medical records.
• Contribute to program development and performance improvement activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
