Jefferson Health in Philadelphia seeks a Staff Level I Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and discharge plan for a full caseload in acute care, skilled facilities, acute rehab and outpatient settings. You will work with interdisciplinary teams and participate in student education, under the mission and values of Jefferson Health.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, 0–2 years of clinical practice, ASHA CCC, state licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• 0–2 years of clinical practice preferred.
• ASHA CCC required.
• State licensure required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, interventions and discharge planning for a full caseload in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab and outpatient settings.
• Participates in student education and supervises novice clinicians.
• Records and documents health progress, daily treatments, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Coordinates treatment plans with other health care professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Upholds the mission, vision and values of Jefferson Health.
