Job summary

LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD. in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Specifications Writer responsible for developing and coordinating technical requirements for construction projects. You will work closely with project teams to align specifications with design intent and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience specializing in architectural specifications and possess strong knowledge of specification-writing standards and building materials.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in preparing and managing architectural specifications.
• Professional experience in an architectural, engineering, or construction environment preferred.
• Certification in CSI's CDT ideally preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate project specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Maintain in-house master specifications and technical standards.

Skills

Knowledge of the CSI Masterformat

Specification-writing platforms proficiency

Understanding of building materials
