Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, providing clinical knowledge of Amgen products and guiding them through payer processes. This role drives product utilization and promotes Amgen’s portfolio within designated territories.

The position emphasizes relationship-building, territory planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver patient-focused outcomes and sustained business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR
• Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales with branded messages and educational programs.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including discussions tailored to customer needs and ensuring product access.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans in partnership with district management.
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow within the role.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products throughout the sales cycle to prioritize patient impact.
• Uphold Amgen values by acting ethically and collaborating with teams.
