Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, share clinical knowledge of Amgen products, and navigate the payer environment. The role requires building relationships, executing the marketing strategy, and driving territory sales with both in-person and virtual engagements.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s or higher (or equivalent) with sales or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required for Specialty Representative; alternate paths include Associate's degree with sales experience or high school diploma with longer sales experience.
• Senior role requires Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of sales/clinical healthcare experience or equivalent, or related combinations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and support appropriate product utilization.
• Deliver on marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
• Lead branded sales messages through in-person and virtual programs to achieve territory targets.
• Build and manage accounts, resolve reimbursement issues, and ensure product access.
• Develop territory plans with the District Manager and share best practices across teams.
