Job Description

• Seeking an expert in Cassandra DBA and RedHat Linux Administration to manage and optimize Cassandra database environments and Linux systems.
• Administer and maintain Cassandra database clusters ensuring high availability and performance; manage RedHat Linux servers supporting Cassandra database and related applications.
• Monitor database health, perform tuning and optimize Cassandra performance; implement backup, recovery and disaster recovery strategies for Cassandra databases.
• Perform routine patching, upgrades and security hardening of RedHat Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Cassandra database and Linux system performance.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deploy and support database solutions.
• Maintain documentation for Cassandra configurations, Linux administration procedures and operational best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Cassandra database management and Linux administration.
