Job summary

LTIMindtree is seeking an experienced OpenShift Kubernetes Engineer to administer and enhance container platforms in enterprise environments. You will apply deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux administration, CICD automation, and cloud-native infrastructure.

The role involves cluster management, upgrades, security, and collaboration with development teams to onboard applications onto OpenShift platforms. Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience administering OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Proven ability to deploy, configure and maintain containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong background in CICD automation, cloud-native infrastructures and Linux administration.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, manage and support OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Deploy, configure and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Perform cluster upgrades, patching, capacity planning and platform health monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking and container-related issues.
  • Configure and manage OpenShift Operators, Routes, Projects, SCC and RBAC.
  • Implement CICD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools.
  • Automate tasks with Ansible, shell scripting or Python.
  • Manage cluster security, secrets, certificates and compliance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to onboard apps onto OpenShift platforms.
  • Monitor platform with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk or Dynatrace.
  • Participate in incident management and production support.
  • Ensure platform availability, scalability and performance through monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer manage and support OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters in production environments
  • Deploy configure and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Perform cluster upgrades patching capacity planning and platform health monitoring
  • Troubleshoot application infrastructure networking and containerrelated issues
  • Configure and manage OpenShift Operators Routes Projects Security Context Constraints SCC and RBAC
  • Implement CICD pipelines using Jenkins GitLab CI or similar DevOps tools
  • Automate operational tasks using Ansible Shell Scripting or Python
  • Manage cluster security secrets certificates and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with development teams to onboard applications onto OpenShift platforms
  • Monitor platform performance using Prometheus Grafana ELK Splunk or Dynatrace
  • Participate in incident management root cause analysis and production support activities
  • Ensure platform availability scalability and performance through proactive monitoring
