Purpose of Position

The Senior Specialist Software Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and identifying improvements by planning, implementing, and monitoring software framework solutions using specialized platform knowledge and experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Execute product specifications, system design, development, and system integration.
• Develop new product concepts and prototypes.
• Conduct research on new technologies, and design individual software components.
• Participate in product and program collaboration.
• Refactor implementations to standardize on an event-driven architecture.
• Refactor web applications and services to be completely stateless and cloud-ready.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience.
• Have 8+ years of experience in a Documentum development role.
• Experience with Webtop 16.x, DFC 22.x, Content Server 22.x.
• At least 2 years of experience configuring Documentum D2.
• Have 8+ years of Java 1.8+ development experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Strong knowledge of web service models: SOAP, OData, REST.
• Strong knowledge of GIT and Apache Maven.
• Experience with Oracle as a backend is preferred.
