Essential Functions:

• Design, build, and manage data ingestion pipelines using multiple technologies including OpenSearch, Kafka, and Druid with open-source packages.
• Design and build applications in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and build Python-based applications for automation and task management.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle in open-source platforms.
• Build multiple data pipelines to ingest unstructured data in real-time for advanced data analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Employees can alternate between remote and office work, expected to work from the office 2-3 days a week based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD, or 11+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

9+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, 7+ with an advanced degree, or 3+ with a PhD. Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration skills, and experience with cloud-based data engineering, Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, Spark), and knowledge of Generative AI are preferred.

Skills include:
