Shift Details

1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM

Position Summary

As a Senior Specialist, Logistics, you will monitor site-specific processes affecting trade compliance and quality. You will work in a dynamic, achievement-driven environment, supporting continuous improvement and team success at GXO.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay rate is $30.00, applicable in Maryland. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and more. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare data entry and confirm milestones (departure, arrival, customs clearance, PODs, etc.) per SOPs.
• Ensure timely processing and distribution of documentation to carriers, customers, and agents.
• Track shipment progress and ensure milestones are met.
• Create and maintain customer tracking reports via CargoWise One / Excel.
• Coordinate with US Customs and external brokers for clearance.
• Maintain courteous customer relations.
• Complete accurate billing and ensure proper costs and profits.
• Confirm shipment availability and coordinate pickups.
• Develop knowledge of GXO Incoterms and import documentation.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with sales, overseas offices, and customers.
• Build relationships with vendors and carriers.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and healthy environment.
• Interact daily with leadership to ensure efficient order flow.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of operational experience with an international logistics provider.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CargoWise One.
• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
• Strong organizational skills with multitasking ability.
