Consolidated Edison, Inc. is seeking a technical security specialist to evaluate, review, propose, and install security equipment protecting personnel and assets across locations.

The role covers access control, alarms, CCTV, detectors, data communications, and fencing with maintenance of hardware and software. You will perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnose and resolve issues, and manage security projects to meet user requirements while ensuring regulatory compliance across the Corporate

• Independently provide on-site technical security system troubleshooting, problem diagnosis and resolution.
• Manage security projects and meet users' requirements across company locations, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Job description

To evaluate, review, propose, and install technical security equipment to safeguard personnel and prevent unauthorized access to critical Company equipment. Equipment includes but is not limited to access control systems, alarm systems, recorded CCTV systems, motion detectors, intrusion detection systems, data communication, and fencing. Provide preventive maintenance and repairs to protective system hardware and software.

To protect the Companys personnel, fiscal, and physical assets using competitive technological security equipment and satisfying all regulatory requirements.

Independently provide on-site technical security system troubleshooting, problem diagnosis and resolution, and general support for the Corporate Security infrastructure installed at all company locations. Requires an understanding of the users business function to manage their technical security projects and meet the users requirements.
