Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a data analytics professional to provide technical support for eligibility feeds, dashboard development, automation, and custom reporting for internal and external customers.

The role partners with product and IT teams to design BI solutions using Tableau and Alteryx, gather business requirements, and present outputs to leadership. You will drive scalable data warehousing, KPI reporting, and data governance, coach junior developers, and help advance analytics

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive data analytics and data management experience.
• Experience with dashboards and data visualization using Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with Alteryx and SQL for ETL and data modeling.
• Exposure to automation tools (Power Automate, UiPath) is required.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Job Description

This position is responsible for technical support of inbound and outbound eligibility feeds, dashboard development, automation efforts, and custom report generation in support of internal and external customer needs. Also provides advanced technical product support for Employer Population Health applications working closely with internal and external customers. This position is also responsible for gathering business requirements for inbound analytics requests, designing, and developing solutions using Tableau and/or Alteryx, and presenting output to leadership. This position does not directly supervise others but is responsible for driving results across cross functional teams and coaching junior developers on best use of models and processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently leads gathering and evaluating business requirements for incoming business analytics requests and provide efficient and effective solutions.
• Leads design, development, deployment and support of custom data solutions for high impact, high visibility products, processes and customers—including but not limited to APIs, interfaces, and linked servers.
• Leads design, development, deployment and support of sustainable/automated BI, reporting and analytics solutions such as dashboards, scorecards, workflows and various other forms of data visualization and delivery.
• Designs, develops, deploys and supports measure algorithms in the form of complex SQL scripts and database queries.
• Collaborates strongly with Product and IT teams to ensure product and platform design integrates successfully with BI solutions.
• Proactively anticipates internal/external customer needs and uses customer insight to drive and guidethe development of new solutions and offerings.
• Serves as a strategic partner to build, grow and maintain effective relationships with data partners.
• Maintains proactive communication and transparency with key internal and external stakeholders to provide status of projects.
• Provides support, guidance and collaboration with Application Developers to implement database and workflow design, and review developer’s work to ensure correct implementation.
• Upgrade and improve data and application schema, preparing design documents and functional specifications.
• Build solutions to drive scalable solutions that leverage data warehousing, dimensional modelling and design, Analytics, Dashboarding, Key performance Indicators (KPIs), Data Quality, Data Management and Data governance best practices.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience

• 5+ years recent progressive data related experience including Data Analytics, Dashboarding, Data Profiling and Data Management.
• Experience in work automation tools like Power Automate, UiPath, etc
• 1-2 yeas of healthcare industry experience
• 1+ years of workflow and API development and integrations using tools like Alteryx.
• Strong demonstrated experience in Tableau/Power BI for dashboard creation and visual data storytelling, data visualization.
• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and ETL processes
• Proficient in Excel

Preferred Work Experience

• 2+ years' experience in project management or continuous improvement methodologies.
