Job summary

Intelligence Careers seeks a Security Officer (GG-0080-13) to lead the Special Security Office, the single point of contact for SCI and information security. The role requires strong oversight of security programs, policy interpretation, and coordination with contractors and government officials.

Ideal candidates bring extensive SSCI experience, an SSO leadership background, and familiarity with DoD security standards.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of SSCI security management disciplines and directives.
• Ability to analyze security programs across information, personnel and physical domains.
• Experience reviewing plans for proposed projects to ensure information security controls.
• Familiarity with security training concepts and program development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all functions as Chief, Special Security Office (SSO).
• Serve as single point of contact for SCI and intelligence information security.
• Develop guidance for applying security policy and procedures to contractors.
• Coordinate security programs with other specialized programs.
