Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific area is required.
  • Senior Scientist: ten (10) years of relevant work experience; eight (8) years with a Master's; five (5) years with a PhD.
  • Scientist: eight (8) years with a Master's (6), or three (3) years with a PhD.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee MALDI/MSI tissue workflows, instrument maintenance, and routine calibration.
  • Develop methods mapping metabolites, lipids, and other small molecules in diverse immune/tumor environments.
  • Coordinate projects, train staff, and troubleshoot experimental approaches.
  • Integrate spatial metabolomics data with multi-omics datasets (spatial transcriptomics, proteomics).
  • Draft sections of manuscripts and grants, and maintain lab documentation and safety compliance.
