TAD PGS, Inc. seeks a senior spacecraft thermal engineer in Laurel, MD to lead design, analysis and testing of thermal control systems for spacecraft and payloads. You will model, test, and optimize thermal performance while guiding project teams through engineering reviews and integration activities.

The role requires 10+ years in spacecraft thermal engineering, strong heat transfer theory, and hands-on Thermal Desktop expertise. US citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in spacecraft or instrument thermal engineering including design, analysis and testing.
• Strong foundation in heat transfer theory and Thermal Desktop proficiency.
• Experience leading thermal tasks or small teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead or contribute to spacecraft thermal control system design, analysis and testing.
• Develop thermal models and perform analyses using Thermal Desktop.
• Support thermal testing, create test plans and analyze data.
• Assist with spacecraft integration and procedure development.
• Communicate design trade studies balancing performance, margins, risk, cost and schedule.
• Present results at design reviews and technical reviews.
• Mentor early-career thermal engineers.
