You may be a senior technical contributor or lead the thermal engineering effort on projects, supporting Civil Space missions and proposals.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of spacecraft/instrument thermal engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in heat transfer theory and Thermal Desktop.
• Proven ability to independently lead thermal engineering tasks or small teams.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to spacecraft thermal control system design, analysis, and testing.
• Develop thermal models and analyses using Thermal Desktop.
• Support thermal testing, including test plans, specs, data analysis, and model correlation.
• Assist with spacecraft integration: procedures, coordination, and installation oversight.
• Perform and present thermal design trade studies at reviews.
• Mentor early-career thermal engineers.
