Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an external loads analyst to design and analyze the Transfer Stage spacecraft. You will develop and validate finite element models, perform rigid and flexible body dynamics, and support subsystem teams with loads environments for launch, docking, and landing.

The role sits in the Lunar Permanence unit, contributing to safe, reusable space systems and humanity's return to the Moon. Strong expertise in loads development and aerospace structures is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, aerospace or civil engineering is required.
• 6+ years of experience in predicting/validating structural dynamics and loads.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, validate FE models and correlate to tests.
• Analyze spacecraft launch, docking and landing events.
• Interpret acceleration, shock and vibration data from tests.
• Support design development and trade studies.
