Job summary

Quantum Space is seeking an Electrical Engineer III/IV to lead the design, development, integration, and testing of spacecraft subsystems such as Avionics, Power, or Communications. You will own architecture, interfaces, integration plans, verification, and flight readiness for complex programs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers while supporting SRR/PDR/CDR/FRR reviews and liaising with suppliers and manufacturers.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline; MS preferred.
  • 7+ years in spacecraft electrical engineering for Engineer III; 10+ for Engineer IV.
  • Experience with avionics, power, or communications subsystems and interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of a spacecraft electrical subsystem (Avionics/Power/Communications).
  • Define architecture, derive requirements, and perform technical trade studies.
  • Prepare ICDs, requirements, test procedures, and verification plans.
  • Support testing, launch campaigns, and anomaly resolution.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
