Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, seeks a Senior Spacecraft Avionics Security Engineer to design and sustain cryptographic subsystems, secure boot, and red/black isolation across space vehicles. You will drive security requirements, verification, and risk assessment for the full mission lifecycle.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to implement secure networking among space assets and support customer security demonstrations and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent related to the work statement.
• 5+ years experience in spacecraft/product security with DoD RMF familiarity.
• Technical understanding of SV avionics and flight software architectures.
• Experience with cryptography, anti-tamper design, and RMF controls.

Responsibilities

• Define vehicle‑level security architecture and select crypto devices.
• Develop and maintain system security requirements and verification artifacts.
• Lead security-related product and system level verification and validation.
• Coordinate with software/hardware teams to enhance cybersecurity implementations.
• Represent security posture in customer interactions and proposals.
