Job summary

Boeing in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Experienced Product Security Engineer to support cybersecurity and resiliency for embedded avionics across the Air Dominance portfolio. You will join a growing AD PSE team, interfacing with systems, software, and hardware engineers to craft secure architectures and compliant requirements.

The role requires DoD RMF/JSIG/NISPOM alignment, the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret clearance, and travel up to 20% for customer/supplier engagements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in avionics and/or aircraft computing systems
• 3+ years’ experience identifying and assessing risks that may affect program success, including resolving risk response strategies and control activities
• 3+ years’ experience preparing technical documents for aircraft systems
• Knowledge of cyber security incident response protocols and safeguarding information

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security requirements for Air Dominance & Phantom Works avionics systems/subsystems, throughout the lifecycle
• Coordinate with partners and system-of-systems product security counterparts for requirements, activities, artifacts, and solutions
• Coordinate with other engineering stakeholders – systems, software, and hardware – advising on security analysis results to develop secure architectures and designs
• Assist in establishing and integrating standards and processes for product security engineering for embedded avionics development and meet program/certification requirements
• Utilize the Risk Engineering digital thread to inform product requirements surrounding cyber survivability
• Assist in risk reduction and technology maturation activities resulting in innovative solutions
• Implements appropriate security controls and requirements per JSIG, DoD and RMF, NISPOM, or DoD Overprint to the NISPOM
• Support inputs for planning, scheduling, risks, issues, and opportunity activities for cyber security
• Support team building, leading cross-functional teams, motivating and engaging team members
