CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the C&DH subsystem development for our Element Satellite team. You will own the C&DH block diagram, perform analyses, conduct trade studies, interact with vendors, and drive design verification testing for spaceborne electronics.

You will collaborate with satellite software, mechanical, and AI&T teams on a small, focused crew, contributing to spacecraft design and on-orbit support, in a startup-like environment with rapid iteration.

Formación

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in spacecraft electrical systems design, analysis, manufacturing, test and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of electronics and electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with spacecraft subsystems including processors, digital I/O, timing signals, power rails, and grounding.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments to debug, test, and validate high-reliability electronics.
• Experience with telemetry, flight software controls, and electronics thermal management.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain C&DH subsystem architecture and interfaces.
• Perform technical definition, implementation, and verification of satellite avionics systems.
• Conduct make/buy trades and trade studies for C&DH items.
• Interface with satellite systems, mechanical, software, and AI/T teams.
• Deliver technical communications to leadership and executives.
• Design and execute test plans for design verification, qualification, and acceptance testing.
• Ensure reliable, performant space avionics systems for spaceflight missions.
