Job summary

Lynker Corporation is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to advance SWPC web interfaces and testbed applications. The role focuses on translating scientific requirements into user-centered designs, implementing front-end in modern JS frameworks, and building robust back-end services in Java, Python, and Node.js.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of experience, strong Agile/Scrum skills, and experience with AI/ML features, Docker, and automated

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in atmospheric science, space physics, geophysics, engineering, computer science, graphic design, human-computer interaction, or mathematics.
• 8+ years of experience in related areas.
• Proven experience as a full-stack developer with senior/lead capacity.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, Svelte).
• Back-end experience with Java, Python, and Node.js (Django a plus).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with Docker for deployment.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as Prefect.
• Experience integrating AI/ML features into production applications.
• Strong project management skills with Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent client-facing communication; ability to mentor a team.

Responsibilities

• Design user-friendly, responsive interfaces for SWPC web apps and product delivery systems.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes from stakeholder input.
• Modernize legacy apps with Vue, React, and Svelte; build data-rich UIs.
• Develop RESTful APIs with Python/Django; work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Prefect; deploy with Docker.
• Lead projects, manage scope, budget, and deadlines; mentor developers.
• Coordinate with stakeholders; translate needs into actionable requirements.
