Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Senior Level Test & Evaluation Engineer for the Space Launch System Core Stage Production Test Team at NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida. You will develop detailed test procedures and lead data analysis to ensure flight safety and system integrity.

The role requires 5+ years in lab or production testing with avionics/electrical and propulsion expertise, and the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. Relocation is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of lab, testing, or production experience.
• Experience with Avionics/Electrical Systems and/or Propulsion.
• Willing to work in confined spaces.
• Able to stand, walk, lift, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test procedures and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan.
• Develop solutions to calibration systems to achieve test requirements.
• Use analytical tools to verify the design.
• Analyze, process and format data to customer requirements.
• Review test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer.
• Support the development and verification of test methods.
• Guide others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements.
• Prepare and publish test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements.
• Present test results internally or externally.
• Archive data and reports.
• Train and mentor others.
• Works under general direction.
