Job summary

The Boeing Company at NASA Kennedy Space Center in Florida seeks a Test & Evaluation Engineer (Experienced or Associate) to join the Production Test Team. You will develop test procedures, instrumentation and verification activities to ensure flight safety for space launch systems.

This role involves analyzing data, reviewing test results, presenting findings, and guiding test hardware and methods. Requires a BS in engineering and 1+ years of test experience; relocation is provided and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years’ test experience in lab, test or production environment.
• Experience with Avionics/Electrical or Propulsion systems.
• Willing to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan
• Develop solutions to calibration systems to achieve test requirements
• Uses analytical tools to verify the design
• Analyze, process and format data to customer requirements
• Review test data, including off-nominal data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer
• Support the development and verification of test methods
• Guide others in the design of test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
• Prepare and publish test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements
• Present test results internally or externally
• Archive data and reports
• Training others
• Works under general direction
