Job summary

L3Harris Space Systems is seeking a Principal, Supply Chain Management to lead end-to-end supply chain programs for space initiatives, coordinating with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to drive execution and optimize the supply base.

You will manage supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and implement DFx considerations to ensure manufacturability and cost effectiveness. The role supports space programs with a focus on technology development and mission solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or Graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain program management in partnership with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to drive execution and optimize supply base.
• Identify pain points using cross-functional approaches and drive best-in-class supply chain processes.
• Track program deliverables, highlight risks, and mitigate long-term supply chain risks with regular status reports.
• Analyze supplier capacity and adjust material flow for line fill and inventory optimization.
• Provide DFx support by reviewing engineering changes for materials/supply chain impact.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to meet program and customer requirements.
