Job summary

McCallie Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program / Operations Manager to lead contractor support for Space Force missile warning programs at Los Angeles AFB. You will direct a multi-disciplinary team supporting acquisition, development, and sustainment of OPIR systems and SBIRS modernization.

You will report to the Government Mission Director and oversee performance, cost, schedule, and personnel actions while guiding cross-functional teams of engineers and analysts.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, CS, Business, PM, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years managing or leading DoD/IC space programs.
• At least 5 years in contractor PM, deputy PM, IPT lead, mission area manager, or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Direct experience with missile warning/sensor systems or OPIR/SBIRS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the contractor team supporting a Space Force missile warning mission area; coordinate across engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and acquisition support.
• Serve as the senior contractor point of contact for Government Mission Director, COR, and contracting officers.
• Manage workforce assignments, surge support, leave coverage, and personnel substitutions to maintain stability.
• Participate in government program reviews, IPT sessions, and working groups.
• Provide senior input to planning and budgeting cycles, including POM exercises and funding profiles.
• Optimize cross-program resource use to maximize cost, schedule, and performance efficiency.
