Tecolote seeks a Senior-Level Program/Mission Scheduler to support SSC SYD 84 Missile Warning Ground and Integration programs at LA AFB, CA. The role involves developing, managing, and analyzing an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for a portfolio of complex, high-visibility programs under SPD guidance.

Responsibilities include creating and integrating diverse schedules, performing predictive analysis of schedule changes, and briefing leadership on critical paths and risks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of scheduling/PM experience in government or DoD-related settings.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Strong MS Project and Integrated Master Schedule experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team on time-sensitive, high-visibility tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the SYD 84/MT portfolio.
• Create and integrate multiple schedules into a single IMS using Microsoft Project.
• Analyze schedules to identify critical paths, risks, opportunities, and downstream impacts; brief leadership.
• Collaborate with SFPEO-SN SE&I to align the missile-warning track schedule and provide visibility to program leadership.

Job description

The Senior-Level Program/Mission Scheduler performs a variety of scheduling, planning, analysis, and business operations duties in support of the Space Systems Command (SSC) SYD 84 Missile Warning Ground and Integration programs (SYD 84/MT) at LA AFB, CA. You will directly support the System Program Director (SPD) in the development, management, and analysis of a cohesive, consolidated Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for a portfolio of complex, high-visibility programs.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will provide expertise in Microsoft Project to create and integrate multiple diverse schedules and plans into a single, cohesive IMS.
• You will interact with the SFPEO-SN SE&I to ensure alignment to the SFPEO-SN’s overarching missile warning track schedule, providing critical visibility to program leadership.
• You will support analysis to identify critical paths, risks, opportunities, and potential downstream impacts of schedule changes, providing predictive analysis to inform leadership decisions.
• Responsibilities and tasks will also include:
  • Integrating, analyzing, and developing (as required) Epoch 1, 2, GMI, and Future Epochs into a consolidated IMS.
  • Developing programmatic IMS elements required to track government milestone events and tasks (i.e., document coordination for major deliverables to align to required submission dates and track to required reviews and approvals).

Skills Required

• At least 10 equivalent years of experience performing scheduling, planning, and program management activities in the government, federally funded research and development center, or profit / non-profit government support arena.
• Knowledge of various quantitative techniques used to analyze scheduling data, develop models, interpret results, and brief senior-level DoD leadership.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as with a team, on time-sensitive high-visibility tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specialized expertise in Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (required).
• Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 / Year, DOE

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
