Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. seeks a Lead Systems Engineer for the MOSSAIC program in Colorado Springs to provide advanced technical leadership in space operations, including tactics development, planning, and lifecycle support of complex systems.

This role requires strong collaboration with hardware, software, and management teams to ensure performance, cost, schedule, and compliance, with on-site duties at the customer site in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 9+ years of experience, or 13 years with no degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI/SI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Work full time at a customer site in Colorado Springs.
• Coordinate with geographically separated operators and partners with IC.
• Lead and manage cross-functional engineering efforts across space systems.
• Support CONOPS development, procedures, and operational checkout of new systems.
• Participate in customer planning, technical exchange, and engineering reviews.
• Provide technical inputs to PMO on contract performance.
• Coordinate readiness reviews and design reviews with stakeholders.
