Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Hardware/Electrical Integration Engineer (Level 5) to support the Space Vehicle Testbed (SVTB) with real-time hardware-in-the-loop simulations and complex integration tasks.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical/electrical engineering, hardware design ownership, and experience with V&V, DSATS, and Python scripting. Clearances and program access are mandatory for continued employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in STEM with extensive engineering experience.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required for start.
• Experience with spacecraft subsystems and test support equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the testbed facility and its hardware.
• Configure testbed, procure parts, manage fabrication and test execution.
• Lead V&V testing for testbeds and AIT activities.
• Own hardware designs and coordinate with project management to implement changes.
• Guide technical teams and manage baselines and major reviews.
