Blue Origin is seeking a software verification leader for lunar programs, helping define verification plans and leading cross-functional teams across the Lunar Permanence project. Qualifications

• BS or higher in computer science, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8 years professional experience minimum.
• Experience developing test cases, procedures, and scripts for software verification.
• Experience in developing software requirements, verification plans, and test cases.
• Experience working across systems and software disciplines, leading cross functional groups.
• Experience in spacecraft design and operations.
• Experience with fault management design.
• Ability to earn trust and maintain positive and professional relationships.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

• Define software verification and test plans with systems engineers, developers, and program managers.
• Lead team members on software verification best practices.
• Collaborate with Verification RE to set direction for development verification events and test cases.
• Manage hardware–software integration problems across vehicle and mission design teams.
• Ensure safety-critical software processes and behavior are properly captured for a safe mission.
