Job summary

Redwire Space Missions LLC in Littleton, CO is seeking a Software Systems Engineer Staff to lead system-level architecture, drive software requirements, and coordinate integration across avionics, networks, and spacecraft subsystems.

You will guide testing, support V&V, and mentor cross-functional teams through the full space systems lifecycle, requiring DoD security clearance eligibility and a strong background in embedded software and flight software interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software integration across spacecraft subsystems.
• Experience driving system-level architecture and requirements development.
• Knowledge of MBSE, SysML, and spaceflight software interfaces.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of software-related system requirements and architectures.
• Ensure integrated performance of flight software across subsystems (C&DH, GNC, power, RF).
• Develop software integration strategies including HI-L testing and V&V planning.
• Coordinate major technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and verification activities.
